Paola Paredes-Shenk is a living proof of the wonderful things that Fabaic can bring to your life. A native of Ecuador, she attended FABAIC for the first time in 2003 with no experience but a lot of passion. She found in that convention her face and body paint profession, her business and someone to share all this wonderful art with, her husband Tom Shenk. Together they now own A-1 Party Artists, Inc, a top entertainment agency that employs 8-10 artists who are the first choice hire for events with companies like Radio Disney, all the Military and the biggest tourist events along the city of Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads, VA.
 
Paola is an architect and preschool teacher who combines these two professions in her life by running her artistic business and teaching kids art. For the third consecutive year, she has been requested by the Fabaic parent's recommendations to lead the kids classes. She encourages anyone traveling to Orlando with children to allow her and her team of fun instructors to introduce them to the art of face painting and keep them motivated to follow up to the wonderful things that Fabaic can bring to their lives.
