Kathy Beringer (affectionately known as, "Kat B.") is a native Chicago who started working in the industry as a make-up artist for Marilyn Miglin in the 1980's. She worked with the Chicago Bulls cheerleaders, Chicago-Luv-A-Bulls, directing make-up usage for games and events.
Kat started airbrush tattooing in 2000 and performed her services from festivals and publication releases to private events.
She's done work for such companies as McDonald's, Condé Nast, National Geographic Channel, Brookfield Zoo, Maui Jim, and Blizzard Entertainment (Warcraft). Kat is a Co-Director of the Greater Midwest Face Painter's Guild and the guild's advisor on face/body products safety and handing.
Kat is one of the FABAIC airbrush coordinators and her dedication and expertise have been influential in the success of this track. You will find Kat wearing her famous pajama bottoms and always sporting a great big smile on her face. Her happy-go-lucky personality keeps her classes interesting and fun.
