Ellen has been teaching theatrical and character makeup for the last  10 years at a performing arts school. While there, she has designed the makeups for over 30 theatrical productions and instructed over  500 students.

Before teaching she worked for 16 years as a makeup  artist for over 50 production companies doing movies, commercials,  music videos and also for the Miami City Ballet, Florida Grand Opera,  the Gold Coast Opera and several cosmetic companies.

Ellen has taught  at FABAIC, FPBA and Living Canvas conventions. She has also placed as  a finalist  in the FABAIC competitions for 5 years and won numerous  awards, including 1st place at the 2008 FPBA convention. Ellen's work  has been featured in "Illusion Magazine".
