Paola Paredes-Shenk:   USA

Paola traveled from her native country of Ecuador to attend the 2nd Annual Face and Body Art International Convention. In her own words, this was an experience that drastically changed her life for the better. When she returned the next year, Tom Shenk who she had met the year before at the convention, proposed to her during the banquet and to the delight of all present she accepted. She now lives happily in Virginia Beach with Tom and her two children. Their company A-1 Party Artists, Inc has grown to the point where they now have 12 artists working for them. This year, Paola is coming back as part of our staff, filled with enthusiasm to give back to FABAIC all the love and the passion for the art of face and body painted that was given to her five years ago.
