FABAIC Pre Day classes are 7 hour hands on workshops geared at getting you warmed up for the big show. The pre day classes give you a unique opportunity to receive hands on dedicated training with some of our world renowned instructors. Pre day classes are held on Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 10am to 4 PM. Lunch is included. Each pre day course is specially designed to give you an in depth lesson and get you ready for 4 days of non stop, art, creativity, learning and fun.

Jay Bautista - Perfecting Line Work To create beautiful facial or body masterpieces, first thing an artist must do is master the brush strokes. In this class, Jay Bautista the "King of Perfect Lines" will guide you in learning and practicing a variety of brush techniques that will help you to elevate your artwork to a new level. You will learn a variety of techniques for perfecting your lines, swirls and teardrops and then Jay will inspire you by teaching you the steps to creating many designs. From tribals or beautiful butterfly masks to incredible creative eye designs, this hands-on class will help you to think outside the box as Jay helps you to put your imagination to work. Lynne Jamieson - Butterflies with a Twist In this incredible creative class, lead by one of the world's finest face and body artists, you will learn the techniques, tips and tricks to create hundreds of variations of designs based on butterflies wings. The class starts with learning and practicing Lynne's unique brush and blending techniques. She will show you how to painting shapes, feathers and flowers and how to use stencils for adding background textures. Wolf Reicherter - Intensive Body Magic using Blacklight and Chromadepth 3D Effects In this high quality blacklight experience and workshop, Master painter Wolf Reichtner will guide you in creating your own masterpiece through the sharing of ideas, rules and concepts. Students learn the basic of blacklight including the differences in the available UV lights sources and the best products to use for this art form. An introduction to Chromadepth 3D sets up the stage for groupwork painting with UV colors. As a bonus, black light photography and postproduction techniques for successful documentation of your artwork are included as well as a review of the basic and mandatory rules for the use of UV pictures in web and print. Please bring your own brushes and/or Day Glow/Neon cakes and liquid UV colors. |
