Kristen Scott: USA
Kristen Scott’s
love of makeup began when she started dancing and
doing theatre at a very young age. Years of painting
herself as a clown at Halloween helped, too, because
at 14 years old, she started working professionally as
a face painter at the county fair for the local face
painting company. After graduating with a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Illustration and a minor in
Photography, she worked for 10 years as an art
director/graphic designer. During that time, she
started her own face painting company, which has now
grown into a small entertainment company, called
Magickal Entertainment. Kristen still performs in many
local productions as an actor/singer/dancer, and
volunteers at her local theatre group as a makeup
consultant.
The
rest of the time, she is either making candy (her
other business, called Artisan Candies), painting
faces, bodies and bosoms at California Renaissance
Faires, or jamming with friends.
She is the Director
of Competitions once again, and this year she is
honored to be a teacher at FABAIC. She will be
teaching the tricks and techniques to create beautiful
freehand temporary tattoos, while incorporating
pigment powders and glitter.
