JEFF EDNEY Jeff Edney is bodypainting artist and photographer located in Virginia Beach, VA. He has a degree in Fine Arts as well as Media Advertising and Design. When not painting or photographing people, he loves to spend time with his family. He is a devoted husband, married for over 15 years, and father of three beautiful children.
Jeff's interest in painting started very early. He used to paint on canvas, but one day he saw bodypainting at a festival and he thought, "Hey, I could do that!". He researched bodypainting materials, and studied the work of other bodypainting artists. Then he practiced bodypainting on his wife, and I completed his first official full painted body in 2000.
In 2004, he started painting on the bellies of pregnant women. It has proven to become a growing trend and people just think it's "so cute!". By combining his bodypainting skills with photography, he can create beautiful and unique portaits of women.
