Heather Banks:   USA
Heather is Marcela’s niece and the face and talent behind Silly Farm Supplies.  Marcela taught Heather how to face paint at the tender age of 14 and she put herself through college using her face painting skills.  Upon her graduation, with a degree in Finance and Business Communication, Heather took over the ownership and management of her Silly Farm.  Since taking over, Heather has built Silly Farm into the number one source for information and quality products and service.  On top of everything she is a great painter and wonderful instructor, with endless patience for painters at all levels. 

Marcela “Mama Clown” Murad
Marcela “Mama Clown” Murad is a pioneer in the world of face painting and clowning. She shares her 30 year experience with anyone who crosses her path. Marcela co founded the Face and Body Art International convention in 2000, and hasn’t stopped since. Marcela has authored several books and videos about face painting, she teaches around the globe, and is emphatically known as the Queen Mama in the world of Face and Body painting. In her 7th year as producer of the FABAIC, Marcela promises to out do herself in 2008!

Nick and Brian Wolfe
No event would be complete without the “Kings of Monsters”, Nick and Brian Wolfe. Traveling with the “Wolfe Pack” - their unique and extremely talented group of artists, they bring energy, excitement and fun to the convention.
combined with their unique style and talent, have made these handsome twins two of the most requested instructors worldwide. Supporters of FABAIC since the beginning, we are ecstatic to welcome them back.

Julie Oliver and Claire Pick:  England
The publishers of the very successful and beautiful Illusion Magazine, Claire and Julie combine years of experience in all facets of the face painting business.  In 2006 as part of a team of five, they broke the World Record for number of faces painted in a four-hour time period and were placed in the Guinness Book of World Records.  You will be entertained as they share with you their British style of painting and their extensive knowledge of the industry.

Sharon Hodges:  USA
For the past two years we have tried to bring this most talented lady as an instructor to FABAIC.  Sharon is very much in demand for her exquisite artwork and has not been able to join us.  But three is a lucky number and Sharon will be with us as first time instructor in 2008. Sharon founded the first organized face painting guild in the US, the DFW Face Painters Guild. In 2005, Sharon competed and won the highest award at FABAIC.   The staff members of FABAIC are ecstatic that she is able to join us and you will be too.

Rodrigo Piedra:  Costa Rica
Rodrigo is one of a kind, with more energy than the Energizer Bunny!  An architect by trade and first class body painter by choice, Rodrigo brings to FABAIC the energy and talent that is a jewel to experience.  He has a fresh and unique approach to perfection in his painting, and is a master of color and style. Rodrigo will enchant and entertain you.  You will be delighted to meet this very successful young man, who is open and willing share his extensive knowledge with us.  Welcome back Rodrigo.

Erika Harrison:  USA
The Queen of Henna!  Erika was discovered at the 2003 FABAIC convention where she went out of her way to help people discover the Art of Henna.  Her knowledge of all facets of this body art is extensive and her willingness to share is unlimited.  Attend her classes and you will receive a complete education with everything you need to know about Henna and Glitter Tattoos.  Just look for the beautiful lady with the pink hair!

Karen Sawyer:  USA
Karen is passionate about everything she does. Karen was a first-time instructor at the 2007 FABAIC and her class titled “A Diversity of Color” was a hit with the participants.  More than anything, they loved Karen’s style of teaching and her bubbly and outgoing personality.  Karen is back filled with enthusiasm to continue to share her passion with you. 

Donna Nowak:  USA
Donna is a lovingly nicknamed ‘The Tool Lady of the Airbrush World.’  She loves to invent things that make our work easier, faster and more practical. Donna is always looking for solutions to the smallest of the problems we may encounter.  Donna is a great communicator and shares many of her ideas in her instructional DVD’s. She’s a smart and beautiful lady with a great personality to match.  It is a pleasure to welcome her back.

Helen Eyre – England
Helen wowed the crowd at the 2006 UK Face Painting Convention with her infamous Super Hero class and her exceptional communication skills. We are pleased to welcome Helen for the first time all the way from the UK. Helen is also the successful owner of Cat Whiskers, a full service party company in the UK. Helen will share her amazing face painting style and business savy- we are thrilled to have her!
